One of my favorite memories is of sitting with my grandmother, looking through the family albums. She gave me my very first camera, an old Kodak instamatic with flash bulbs. I remember being so excited every time the flash popped. That feeling continued as I grew, and took my first photography class in college. Photography wasn’t my focus at that point, because my father didn’t think that was what “real professionals” picked as a career, but it became a passion. When I had children, I brought that passion back out, polished it up, and made it my focus, by learning, practicing and finding my “style”. Now I get to share my love of photography with others, by teaching classes and capturing their memories!
